Matt Sowinski is proud to work behind the scenes at excelHR. He knows that his contributions play a crucial role within the organization-and have a profound impact on the customer-service experience of clients and candidates alike. A graduate of Algonquin College’s Business Administration and Accounting program, Matt followed an online referral to excelHR. As Payroll and Invoicing Coordinator, he processes payroll for candidates, responds to client requests about invoicing procedures, and supports users of excelHR’s electronic timesheet portal. While his responsibilities are varied, Matt’s goals are always the same: to surpass expectations when it comes to customer care, helping things run smoothly and being always ready to listen when someone has a question or concern. Committed to his own professional development, Matt is continuing his education with the aim of becoming a Certified General Accountant. In his off-time, he can usually be found on some kind of sports field-or, in the winter months, on the ice chasing a puck.
